There is plenty information on the Internet regarding volunteer and intern projects, we cannot be held responsible for any information about our volunteer projects published anywhere except for here on the Swarnabhoomi Volunteer website. The project fees listed on this page are the most current and will apply to anyone looking to participate in any of our projects.

 

Swarnabhoomi Volunteer is an independent organization with no connections to (or support derived from) any government or religious organization. As such, we require a project fee from our volunteers and interns to help cover the overheads involved with providing proper support and arranging quality international volunteer projects. We work hard to keep our fees as low as possible and have some of the lowest volunteer and intern project fees offered in Sri Lanka.

 

Specific Volunteer Project Fees:

We accept volunteers of any nationality that possess the necessary qualifications for the project in which they would like to participate.

 

What’s included in the Project Fee:

• Project Coordination

• Airport pick-up/Drop off

• One -day Orientation (half-day city tour, based in the location of the Project)

• Accommodation during orientation and throughout the entire project Breakfast & Dinner (Monday to Friday.)

• Twenty-four-hour emergency assistance and support

• Certificate will be awarded on Completion of project by the host organisation.

• Donation to the Project or Host Family.

 

Volunteer Project Registration Fee:

A non-refundable deposit is required to book a volunteer position with any of our projects. The balance of the project fee is the entire project fee minus the deposit. This project balance fee is due one the first day of orientation.

If inform us 14 days prior to project start date, project date can be postponed for a future date but cannot be transferred to someone else and project deposit fee will not be refunded.

 

If no show or cancel the programme, then the project placement will be lost and the deposit will not be refunded.

 

Volunteer in Two or More Projects:

Volunteers have the option to work with more than one project during their time with Swarnabhoomi Volunteers.

 

Sending Volunteer Project Fees:

Swarnabhoomi Volunteer ’s online payment system are administered by PayPal to ensure secure online payments. You can access our online payment system and send a project fee payment by clicking on the “PayPal” icon at the bottom of any of our website pages. Money can be sent from a personal PayPal account or by most major credit or debit cards via the PayPal merchant terminal. Wire transfers  For information , please contact us.
