Application Procedure

 

Just follow 09 easy steps and you could soon experience the best of Sri Lanka:

 

Step 01: Read all the programme requirements, the contract and general information carefully and make sure that you understood and accepted the conditions.

 

Step 02: Fill out attached application form, Medical report (to be written out by a Medical Practitioner) and sign the contract. Keep one copy of all these documents for your own record. ( Optional )

 

Step 03: Send the following by post or e-mail to us: Filled in Application Form, Medical report, Signed contract, 1 Passport photo, Copy of your Passport ,Police Clearence Certificate ( Optional ), Program fee  which you must pay in cash to us by local currency or by foreign currency USD or Euro.

Step 04: After we have received your application, we will send you our current available projects by e-mail or post. You can then choose the project/s you want to work on as well as the duration of your intended stay on each of the projects. Send your choice/s back by e-mail or post for us to make arrangements, we will send you programs with details. Information of your Host family as well as contact numbers and addresses of your project/s.

Step 05: Normally you will receive the visa on arrival in Sri Lanka or through http://www.eta.gov.lk or you may apply your Tourist visa from the Sri Lankan mission abroad close to your point or country. Please let us know by phone, fax or e-mail of your Travel details

 

Step 06: Everything is now settled for your departure. Please phone us a day before to confirm your arrival time in Colombo. We will meet you at the Airport and take you to your accommodation for the orientation program.

 

Step 07: You will have three day  orientation program ( Optional ), individual and group volunteers will have separate orientation programs.

 

Step 08: After your orientation, we will arrange transport for you to your project of first choice or we would take you there personally.

 

Step 09: Now you can start with your volunteer stay.

 

All extra training necessary for working on your project will be provided by your supervisor and other staff.

Working hours and Days off:

Working hours and days off are normally 06 hours a day, 02 full days free per week.

This can vary and you must be flexible. Full information and duties will be provided by your project supervisor on arrival at your project. For extra days off, you must inform the Project supervisor at least 07 days BEFORE.

WHAT DO MY FEES PAY FOR?

  • Registration Fee (Non Refundable if you choose not to go*)

  • Transport cost /Information Pack

  • Travel costs to inspect the programs

  • Communication costs with volunteers.

  • Donation for Community and Social services project

Program Fess Included:

  • Accommodation in Host Family and Three Times meals during whole volunteer placement period,

  • Certificate on completion of your project

WHAT ADDITIONAL COSTS WILL I HAVE?

Visa, flights, vaccinations, criminal background check,Medical Accident Insurance

Anything not mention in the program fee.
